Welcome to SafeGuards Training

SafeGuards Training is a unique training program designed to meet the highly specialized training needs of staff serving children, youth, adults and families in Ontario. It is a joint training project of five provincial associations in the children´s services sector that began in 1995.

REGISTER NOW FOR SAFEGUARDS NEW TRAINING
In 2009/2010 Safeguards is rolling out training designed to better meet the unique needs of those serving children, youth, adults and families. Topics are now being developed to better address specific settings, staffs level of experience and expertise and the type of clients served. THERAPEUTIC CRISIS INTERVENTION (TCI): TRAINER CERTIFICATION - Jan. 25-29 2010

NEW TRAINING PARTNERSHIP WITH EATING DISORDER SERVICES
Safeguards is partnering with the Ontario Community Outreach Program For Eating Disorders to help expand the reach of training and further develop connections between agencies and the regional eating disorder programs so agencies can access support services when needed.
