Description
For many caregiving professionals, these are difficult times- unlike any other we have ever experienced. Self Care Strategies for Caring Professions provides an opportunity to focus more on ‘what do I need?’ rather then ‘what is wrong?’ Often, we know how to care for ourselves yet we get stuck in routines, patterns and expectations where we cannot regularly invest in our own health and wellness. Together, we will examine self care and wellness from a range of perspectives and work together to inform what will be supportive for you.
This training is an opportunity to identify self-care methods unique to you and how best to deploy these mechanisms of care as needed. Participants will explore emerging research and opportunities for growth after traumatic experiences.
This instructor-led training includes opportunities for discussion, self-reflection, and peer group activities.
