Description
Effective leadership requires not only attention to the needs of others but also a commitment to nurturing one’s own mental and emotional health. This workshop will provide practical tools for leaders to incorporate mindfulness into their daily routines, helping to reduce stress, prevent burnout, and foster a sense of balance.
Leaders will learn strategies to create spaces where staff feel empowered to engage in self-care, leading to higher levels of productivity, satisfaction, and retention. Emphasizing the importance of compassionate leadership, this session will guide participants in cultivating a work environment that values empathy, connection, and emotional well-being. Participants will leave equipped with the tools to integrate self-compassion and mindfulness into both their personal practices and organizational leadership.
Please note: There is a complementary training for caring professionals called: ‘Self Compassion in the Workplace: Caring for Ourselves while Caring for Others’. You or your staff may want to take that session before taking this leadership training.
This training is an updated version of ‘Promoting Wellness in Staff Teams: Conversations for Leaders’
