Combining lived experience with emerging research on the Indigenous Social Determinants of Health, this training will evoke emotions that are necessary to reflect on contemporary issues facing the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit of Canada. Learn about implicit biases, it’s sometimes deadly effect on those accessing care, how to address it, and how to work towards becoming an Ally from the perspective of an Inuk nurse and the daughter of residential school survivor.
